Roger N. Jespersen
Reverend Jespersen began serving at Charleston United Methodist Church
in 2003. He had previously served as United Methodist Campus Minister
in Kirksville (1977-1984) and St. Louis (1984-2002), as a pastor in
Bismarck and Grand Forks, North Dakota; Baltimore, Maryland; and Lane
and Roswell, South Dakota.
Rev. Jespersen received his master of divinity degree from Saint Paul
School of Theology in Kansas City. He also holds an MS in Human
Resources Management from Northeast MO State U. and a BA from Dakota
Wesleyan U in Mitchell, SD.
He serves as a member of the board of directors of Susanna Wesley Family
Learning Center, the Visiting Nurse Association of Southeast MO,
Mississippi County Caring Communities, and the Charleston Ministerial
Alliance.
Roger's wife, Susan, is employed at the United Methodist Church
Southeast District office in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The
Jespersen's have have 4 children and 6 grandchildren.
